RUN TO REMEMBER
PRESENTED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF GIDDINGS
SATURDAY, MARCH 23rd, 2019
Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. - Run will begin at 9:10 a.m.
Lee County Courthouse, Giddings, Texas
$25 until March 8th, 2019 (t-shirt guaranteed); $30 after March 9th (t-shirt while supplies last)
Packet Pick-Up:
Friday, March 22nd from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at First National Bank Business Center

For the past 7 years, the Rotary Club of Giddings has hosted the “Emmett Hannes 5K” run/walk. We are changing the run up a bit this year and decided to change the name of the 5K to “Run to Remember”. At the end of 2018, we lost an Honorary Rotarian who was instrumental in the Rotary Club establishing the Interact Club at Giddings High School. Mrs. Phyllis Simmonds was the Interact Club teacher representative since 2003 and we thought the 5K would be a great way to honor her memory each year. We not only want to remember these two outstanding Rotarians, but all of the past Rotarians who have made an impact on this community who are no longer with us.

All proceeds will go to community service projects or scholarships.
