As you approach the cave's entrance, your heart races with anticipation. The darkness beckons, promising a world untouched by the sun's rays. The air inside is cool and damp, and a gentle breeze whispers out from the darkness, carrying the scent of ancient earth with it. Armed with a sense of curiosity, you take a deep breath and step inside, leaving the world of sunlight behind. The cave's narrow passage guides you deeper into the earth; dripping water echoes around you, adding a rhythmic melody to your footsteps. 

As you venture further, the passage begins to widen, revealing The Hidden Wonders of the vast chambers adorned with breathtaking rock formations. Stalactites hang from the ceiling like jagged teeth, while stalagmites rise from the ground, forming intricate sculptures that seem to defy gravity. The cave's natural artistry leaves you in awe, and you can't help but marvel at the millennia of slow geological processes that shaped this subterranean wonderland.

Whether running a 5k, 10k, or half marathon, you will experience our new adventure at the Hidden Wonders Tour.

The 5k trail run goes on a loop after you exit the cave and finishes at the grass area behind the NBC Village.

The 10k is an out-and-back with one nice hill that merges onto the 5k course and finishes at the same grass area behind the NBC Village.

Exhausted but elated, you take a moment to reflect on the experience. The Half Marathon not only challenges your physical abilities but also gifts you with the most breathtaking views and a profound connection to the natural world. The course challenges you with varying terrains, from soft grassy tracks to rugged rocky paths. Each step brings new surprises, and you find yourself adapting to the changing landscape with determination and excitement.

Let's dive into the exciting perks you'll receive as a finisher:

Finisher Medals:  As you cross the finish line, you'll be proudly awarded a finisher medal. This physical symbol of your achievement serves as a reminder of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance you put into completing the challenging course

Delicious Food:  After the demanding race, it's time to refuel and replenish your energy

Music: the post-race area will be alive with rhythm and beats, adding to the overall sense of accomplishment and joy.

Ticket for the Natural Bridge Caverns: The surprises don't end at the finish line! As an extra bonus, you'll receive a ticket to explore the Natural Bridge Caverns, a stunning underground wonder of nature. The ticket, valued at $20.00

 With your heart still pounding from the adrenaline rush, you carry the memories of your cave run with you. The experience has left an indelible mark on your soul, and you can't wait to share your stories of this incredible underground journey with others.

Refund Policy:

1. Refund Deadline: If a participant requests a refund 14 or more days before the event date, they will be eligible for a partial refund. Specifically, 1/2 of the race fee (excluding any processing fees) will be refunded to the participant.

2. No Refunds or Transfers on Race Day: Once the race day arrives, no refunds or transfers to other events will be permitted. This means that any request for a refund or event transfer must be made well in advance of the race day to be considered.

3. Race Cancellation: In the unfortunate event that the race is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Race Director, such as inclement weather, unsafe weather conditions, or local, state, or national emergencies, refunds will not be issued. However, the race packets, which may include race shirts and other items, will still be made available to participants at a location determined by the organizers.
