What a great event!
As a sponsor, I had an awesome time getting to know the racers, other sponsors and all the families involved in the event. It was so well organized and so positive - I would definitely do it again!

Fantastic 5K
For an inaugural event, this 5K greatly exceeded many more established 5K races that I have ran. The course was fantastic going through the school property and local neighborhood with plenty of shade, solid run paths, and protection from wind/vehicles. The amount of volunteers was amazing due to their numbers and enthusiasm. The water station placement provided two opportunities for water. The post race food, DJ, and booths exceeded some larger distance races even providing activities for young children not running. The breakdown with the timing chips and the related software was “untimely”. That piece of the puzzle should be easily fixable by either the third party vendor’s own reckoning or by finding a new vendor to provide proper timing. What can’t be replaced (i.e. venue site, race course layout, volunteer organization, post-race events, and enthusiasm of spectators) is a solid foundation for future years of racing.

Hi, thank you for supporting and attending our inaugural event! We are so glad that you enjoyed the venue, race route, vendors, and more! I apologize for the delay in time results. Unfortunately there was a glitch in the system with several of our race numbers so we were having to manually input the times for everyone to ensure accurate results. We hope to see you out at next year's Run for the HALL!

A fun family event!
This was such a fun race - it's well run and it's a great event for families. My son participated in the Kids Run and had a blast (and loves his medal). I did the 5k and it was a nice course that gives a great view of the beautiful campus. There's a fun swag bag that's really nice and lots of vendors and bouncy houses to go around and check out afterwards. We had a great time!

Great time
I didn't receive much prior info about the race after registering over 2 months ago. Thankfully, there was an email the night before the 5K took place with all that I needed to get in and parked, etc. There was lots of good signage, lots of sponsors with goodies and freebies, and good music/ entertainment for the pre and post- activities. The volunteers were great throughout the walk, encouraging us, smiling, all the way to the finish line.

The 3K was a fantastic, well-organized event with great vendors and a smooth setup. The running path was well spaced and a lot of motivation along the way. My only suggestion would be adding more check-in tables to speed up the process. Looking forward to next year! Thank you SMH for hosting this amazing family friendly event

Awesome Race
What great 5K! The energy and vibe was SO much fun and really geared towards encouraging our kiddos to value healthy, active lifestyles. I loved the community type feel. Having ran many local races, this is one of my new favorites! Nice variety of vendors and met some great families. Check-in was just a little slow, but very high high-quality race bag and nice T-shirts were provided! The course! Not too bad :-) Those subtle rolling hills sneak up on you, but my little one had no problem hopping out of the stroller and tackling them, haha. Could’ve used some caution cones or temporary paint over gate bumps in the road (racer fell pretty hard) and more course support/cheer squads, but all in all, highly recommend, and we will be back next year!
