RUN FOR THE UNHOUSE 5K

PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Run for the Unhouse 5K (the “Event”), organized by Armor of God Outreach and timed by Personal Best Events, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that participating in a road race, fun run, or other athletic event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls; collisions or contact with other participants, spectators, vehicles, or objects; traffic; road and course conditions; weather conditions; heat, cold, or other environmental conditions; illness; physical exertion; and other risks that may result in injury, illness, disability, death, or damage to personal property.
I represent that I am physically capable of participating in the Event and have adequately trained for the activity. I understand that it is my responsibility to determine whether I am sufficiently fit and healthy to participate. I agree to stop participating if I experience any symptoms or conditions that could place me or others at risk.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, including risks arising from ordinary negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue Armor of God Outreach, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, Event Director, organizers, and representatives; Personal Best Events, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors, and representatives; Race Entry, LLC; Event sponsors; and other persons or organizations involved in producing, organizing, timing, or supporting the Event (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to my participation in or attendance at the Event, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, or property damage, except to the extent such claims cannot legally be waived.
This release applies to injuries, illnesses, damages, or losses occurring before, during, or after the Event to the extent arising from my participation in or attendance at the Event.
I agree to follow all Event rules and the instructions and decisions of Event officials, medical personnel, and course personnel. I understand that Event officials may remove me from the Event if they determine that doing so is necessary for my safety or the safety of others.
MEDICAL TREATMENT
In the event that I become ill or injured, or experience a medical emergency during the Event, I authorize Event officials, medical personnel, or emergency responders to obtain or provide reasonable medical care and treatment that they determine to be necessary.
I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses, transportation costs, treatment, medications, hospitalization, or other medical services provided to me.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property brought to or left at the Event, except to the extent such responsibility cannot legally be waived.
PHOTO, VIDEO, AND MEDIA RELEASE
I grant Armor of God Outreach, Personal Best Events, LLC, and their authorized representatives permission to photograph, record, and/or otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, name, and participation in connection with the Event.
I authorize the use of such photographs, video, audio, race results, and other recordings for legitimate Event-related purposes, including advertising, promotion, social media, websites, publications, and future Event marketing, without compensation to me.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT
By submitting my registration, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and understand this Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk. I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights by agreeing to these terms, and I voluntarily agree to be bound by them.
For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept this waiver on behalf of the minor participant and acknowledge responsibility for the minor's participation in the Event.
I understand that this agreement is intended to be binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns
