Fort Stockton Barrio Fest 5K 

Join us for the Barrio Fest 5K Run and Walk, the dynamic kickoff to our 3-day Hispanic Culture Event in Fort Stockton, Texas.

As Barrio Runners, we break barriers and defy stereotypes, embodying the spirit of our culture, family, and community with pride and determination.

Just as our ancestors ran for communication, hunting, ceremonies, and competitions, we ran to connect with the land, ourselves, and our heritage.

The Barrio Fest 5K is more than a race—it celebrates our identity and shared journey.

Runners may find their stride through the following:

Connecting with the land and nature, Deepening self-awareness and personal growth, Cultivating a relationship with a higher power, and Communicating with a more profound calling. Whatever your motivation, we welcome you to join us in achieving these goals.

Awards:

Overall, Males and Females 

The top three Males and Females for each category will be awarded medals.

Top winners will also be announced on the main stage in the evening

Refund Policy:

No refunds will be issued for this event. By registering, you agree to this policy. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch with the Race Director, Emilie Feyry.

Event Cancellation:

If the Race is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Race Director, such as inclement weather, unsafe conditions, or local, state, or national emergencies, refunds will not be provided. However, race packets, including race shirts, will be available for pickup at a designated location.
