Join us for the 3rd Annual Honor Run 5K, a community event dedicated to celebrating and honoring our nation’s veterans.

This run is more than just a race — it’s a tribute. Each stride represents courage, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of those who have served. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering, your participation helps us strengthen the bonds of community and support our local heroes.

Come together with students, staff, families, and veterans for a morning filled with patriotism, wellness, and community pride.

Overall Male & Female Winners

Top Male & Female in each age category:

14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+

Race Information

Chip-Timed Event: Official timing provided by Personal Best Events — every second counts!

Bib Placement: Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt for accurate timing.

Start & Finish Line: Campus Greens (map provided on race day).

Parking: Free parking is available in designated campus lots.

Our Mission

The Honor Run 5K celebrates our veterans while promoting physical wellness, school spirit, and community connection. 

Together, we run to honor the past, empower the present, and inspire the future.

Refund Policy / Event Cancellation

No refunds will be issued for this event. All race registrations serve as donations to the Student Veterans of America.

No refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather or other emergencies, but race packets (including shirts) will be available for pickup at the Northeast Lakeview College Veterans Affairs Office.
